Damian Marley has 2 mixed parents.
Oh so his mom is mixed even though she is 3/4 white? :mjpls:

No, they're just more white than black therefore white.

I have mixed ancestry, should I claim mixed even though I'm dark skinned with kinky hair?
The girl on the right is 3/4 white. Going by your logic she is a white woman.

Yeah claiming mixed because of my insignificant white great grandfather/mother would make me feel uncomfortable lol.

Right, I don't go by appearance, I go by genetics :yeshrug:

I feel like I say this alot but I have cousins the coli would call mixed based on appearance but they're as black genetically as I am.

It makes you mixed, not half mixed, mixed. At certain point you stop being mixed but not when one of your parents is biracial, you're still 1/4 another race, I say the next generation is the cut off point from being mixed, great grandparent are too far back

you can identify as mixed & as a particular race, the two aren't mutually exclusive which a lot of americans struggle with.
