If you think about it, it makes no sense. But also i think being in the Us complicates it because blacks are both nation less and historically ostracized from mainstream US so there's a distinct black culture and identity thats is based on phenotype whereas in other cultures their culture /heritage is defined clearly from birth.
I just want to understand some of the logic on here. Would you consider Joakim Noah white (3/4 white, 1/4 black)?

My mom was mixed and my dad was dark skinned black. My mom always identified as black, and got mad if someone called her otherwise. I say I'm the complexion of Demarcus Cousins. Always considered me and my brothers black, and never had anyone say otherwise,
