exaaaaaaaaaaaaactly.

that's what i've been saying for years now. i cant take colorism complaints seriously from women like @WHIPPEDCream, when their whole agenda is about hooking up with white men. i mean, what the fukk is the final outcome? a black mother that deals with hatred, jealousy and envy for her own bi-racial daughter? come on now, the shyt makes no sense.

We are basically allowing mulatto women to represent us when we do that and that's uncomfortable to me. Just be mixed. There's nothing wrong with that. Why are black folk so offended when mixed folk proclaim their mixed race heritage instead of saying they're just black. :comeon:

its not about competition, nikkas are on full on bullshyt when it comes to the one drop rule. i can easily admit that and im constantly arguing with nikkas about it on this site.

but on the flip side, black women are on the same exact shyt. black women think they can get with a white man and still produce black children. black women will still praise any biracial that's with a white man as a black woman. so i'm with you fully, just remember that it's not exclusive to the men

I don't think its exclusive to men. In my experience with full Black women the effort isn't as strong to claim biracials as it is with full Black men. Unless the woman herself is biracial and wants to maintain the privilege of being at the top of the hierarchy within the Black race, or a lighter skinned Black woman who for whatever reason feels the same threat. I think this is because unlike dark skinned, more ethnically featured Black men, Black women have felt the sting of being replaced in terms of representation more (at least for now) so we are able to make the distinction much easier. But if your experience is different, OK.

I do agree that there is a contingent of Black women however that will claim biracial women as soon as those women are lauded for something that they want to have as a Black female accomplishment. Its silly for them to do that then turn around and talk about representation. Can't have it both ways.

these are black kids according to the one drop rule:

its because its so ingrained. like, for most of my life, the hottest black woman in hollywood has been halle berry. so for over 20 yrs, black males have been told the standard of beauty for BW is a biracial woman.

i mean dudes who subscribe to this shyt shouldnt talk pro-black anything. you cant practice proper group economics or black pride when you believe the black womb is not a necessity. you end up like dame dummy, building for the non-black woman and children to come through and reap the benefits

CK considers her kids biracial.

but with her, its even more ironic because she dislikes biracial women ANY other time (unless they're with white men). hell, she was just blasting kendrick lamar the other day for being with his girl, when that could be her daughter

according to one drop rule, tiger woods and his children are black. do these kids look black to you:

tiger-woods-02-600x800.jpg

when you look at your lil half-ling that you made with a white woman, do you honestly see a black kid?

Look it's up to these kids to claim whatever culture they want. Black people aren't going to force them to claim themselves as black.

Mixed people (what the hell is the definition for this, having a non African grand parent?) will generally claim whatever culture is the dominant one in their household, whether that culture accepts them is another thing.

I think it's cause being with a mixed woman, they feel like they can bring her back to the black race, because they would reproduce "black" children.

I have a personal issue with reproducing with white people personally, I don't care about biracials at the end of the day. If they strongly identify with their black heritage, good on them, but they're also in a privileged position being an "other" and they need to be honest about that instead of playing the "I was picked on by black kids for being mixed" victim role. :ld:

There are some black women who do claim biracial women as black, and it makes me feel uncomfortable because it's basically perpetuating colorism.

yeah, there's that. plus, they look at the white woman and say "hey, i can create a halle berry with her. so i'm still keeping it black"
