Haven't seen it yet. Supposed to see it tonight breh
Mission Impossible 2 was always my Favorite.
Some of the set pieces were fun. The opera scene is one of my favorites of the year.
but everything else felt kinda dry to me. I think it was the dialogue and the meh performances that came along with it. I put that all on Mcquarrie. It also got silly towards the end.
I expected to like it a lot more due to the review scores. However I've found that all movies not named fury road this summer to be nowhere as good as the hype.
Edit. That halo 5 product placement though
I disagree. I loved ghost protocol.Breh, besides the first two movies this whole franchise is dry as hell, McQuarrie actually did a better job bringing some liveliness to it than Bird and Abrams.
Yeah I may also do the same this Following Week.probably will see it within the week

I liked the opening of that film and the scene in Russia too.Of course you would even if its only good part is the Dubai stunt.

Every scene with Renner in this one made me yawn and check out.
I recall them breaking him outta prison.Define 'the opening' because as far as I remember that movie opens with an incredibly amateurishly shot tv-production level scene of another IMF agent being chased and killed in action. And I like to emphasize that it's so amateurishly shot that it felt like Bird let his 2nd unit's assistant director's assistant direct it. One of the most mind-bogglingly anti-cinematic openings I've seen outside of The Avengers' tv-level opening scene.

Why you caping so hard for something you called "just OK"?
