You want a conviction, period. You overcharge and don't prove intent and he'll walk.
They probably wouldn't have announced it if they didn't already have it down or are confident they can't be stopped. They don't usually not follow through on stuff they say they'll do.

If reports are true that one of the cops told Chauvin that George doesn’t have a pulse, and Chauvin said he staying right here and kept his knee on his neck for damn near 3 plus minutes more, this shyt a slam dunk. Glad they upped the charges
