Whenever he's involved in these high profile cases, the verdict usually come back BS. Not guilty (George Zimmerman), no charges (Darren Wilson), or some light charges (Amber Guyger). He's not the lawyer at trial but is retained by the family. Plus he seems to always pop when these incidents happen.
He's a public lawyer. His face brings awareness to a tragedy. He seeks justice whether criminally or monetarily. Up to justice system to do the right thing.

If that was my family getting crushed, I'd tackle that cop and push him off, no hesitation. I will gladly take the assault charge.

But most people are afraid to act especially on behalf of a stranger. Nobody wants to die or go to jail.

I know there was white people there. They should have used their whiteness to intervene. Pathetic cowards they are.

We get the difference. What we're saying is the big name civil rights attorneys involvement tends to sidetrack the actual criminal results of the incidents. It becomes a dog and pony show for views and clicks.

You do understand that it's a compromise and backroom deals involved when the police settle with the family of the victim? We'll pay you and the officer gets to go home in the criminal trialm

So you think its some secret backroom deal at a completely separate civil trial that allows cops to gets acquitted in a criminal trial?

Not the jurors who vote to acquit?

:gucci:

And here I thought racist cops got away with murdering black men because the mostly white juries sympathized with the cop

:skip:

Turns out its those damn personal injury lawyers cutting deals with the jury, huh?

So at what point in the conspiracy does crump tell the jurors to vote not guilty?

:pachaha:

That may be true in theory but Crump is NOT that... I saw personally what Crump's gettdown was during the Amber Guyer trial in Dallas. You mentioned justice "criminally or monetarily", check the receipts, with crump its always the ladder..

Would you want a family lawyer speaking on behalf of the family who cannot even speak coherently and makes side deals with police unions. That's why towards the ladder end of the guyer trial, you didn't see crump as much because even dallas cops were looking at him :dahell:

He's a money lawyer seeking fame first, NOT JUSTICE, same thing for Lee merit. They represent cases pro bono and because of the name, some black people "hire" him which is a mistake.

Its funny how so many people were upset with botem-jeans brother when Merrit and Crump orchestrated the entire thing with him hugging guyer!

Crump came into the fold immediately asking for money before the trial even got started which is why he faded to the background because so many people locally saw the con game..

Overall he's a shytty lawyer and I'm tired of seeing his name associated with cases of police injustice.. Yes a huge lawsuit will go to that mans family and that's all crump cares about which is why so many people despise him..
