Only update I'm waiting is that those pigs are arrested and indicted
Well the thing is, those cops were "fired" meaning by law they are no longer supposed to be protected by the police department and union. But the cop that was laying on george's neck still had over 50 officers protecting his home when hes supposed to be an "ordinary citizen" now. Those officers who killed george are still being protected.

Homicide detectives can present a case to the DA 24hrs a day. Given how swiftly they were fired, a judge could've signed a arrest warrant and they could be behind bars the next day at the latest, maybe the same night. That's whats causing the anger and distress on top of the murder itself. Its a usual dog and pony show going on. Law enforcement is strongest arm of white supremacy and they refuse to relinquish the hold on it because if they do then the tables will be even...

No one gives a fukk about the company losing money. The sales tax from those stores funds several vital services including their schools. Do they have Black businesses ready to replace the places they are destroying or will they now have to drive out to White neighborhoods and give those funds to somebody else’s kid?

People will also have a harder find finding essential products and services in their neighborhood which will make their lives harder. What if someone is struggling and has to walk to target? Where are they going to go now?

Does anyone know how a Bank works? They are stealing from innocent, everyday, and very likely Black people when they destroy those ATM’s.

I wouldn’t care if I didn’t know they are hurting themselves more than wealthy CEOs.

1 Target losing some items on 1 day will not have a significant impact on any school's funding over there. You also make a lot of assumptions about where the looters live and go to school with no real facts.

There are many stores in Minneapolis, including another Target 7 minutes North and another 10 minutes South.

There is more than 1 ATM in Minneapolis and I assure you the money is still in the accounts and their cards still work (I know how a bank works. Fun fact: Your account balance is not stored in any 1 ATM).

Now, let's stop worrying about Target and focus on the fact George Floyd's killers have been allowed to walk free, please.

Your not wrong and some people are definitely just taking advantage of a tragedy to act ignorant but at the same time.

Standing around singing kumbaya doesn't work and black people aren't sadly organised enough to hit them in the only thing they care about there pocket so this is the only other response :yeshrug:

They try and make black people feel powerless and this is a natural response to that
Look man I'm going keep it one hundred.

I'm distraught af about this guy's death, as well as the many other black(men and women) whom have lost their lives to police misconduct, but after an incident like this happened....

I don't give a fukk if target was giving out these items for free, the last thing on my mind would be trying come up on some electronics.

The target incident is my main problem with consumerism, a lot of shyt that people "value" is really useless and depreciates with time.

I’ve never seen or felt anything like what Minneapolis feels like right now.

People who don’t deal with the police here directly have no clue what it’s like, this shyts been brewing since 2015

Haven’t slept, trying to avoid texts, avoiding social media because I know imma say some real foul shyt to people because I’m in the thick of this shyt with no means to vent

I frequent that target and that cub foods, live not far from the region.

Folks saying rioting “is not the answer”

please lay out a proper and realistic response. ..

When all other “peaceful methods” of calling for dialogue, reform and resolution have been exhausted.

When Philando Castile was killed and we got to see gotdamn play by play on fb live we marched around the city and people bytched and moaned online about how it wasn’t fair that traffic was being impacted and people were having long commutes.

“It’s not the way to cause disruption to people who had nothing to do with it!!!”

When Jamar Clark was killed it was “peaceful”

We sat and occupied Plymouth Ave for a few days eventually the police came tore down the barricades etc and moved people along. We had racist fukk faces trying to harm people who were peacefully assembling there

Yes there are opportunists doing what they do, find ANY catastrophe and if you will find vultures circling

there is a real fed up angsty energy amongst people here you could see it and feel it and it’s been present in the city for a very long time.

in 92 they didn’t have the boots on the ground reporting. We do in 2020. I’m posting this from the area. Not from the comfort of YouTube any of that shyt

Questioning why people are rioting is complaining about the water coming out of the sink when your well is rotten

George Floyd being killed in basically a gotdamn snuff film for the world to see is gonna bring out an irrational rage from people who are tired of seeing this shyt go unchecked and unpunished.
