This shyt remind me of the LA riots. We burned the whole city down. Things changed after that shyt, council reps lost they spots, sgts, attorneys, it was crazy. LAPD got real quiet and careful for awhile. It's one of the reasons they were tippy toeing the OJ case, they knew folks were watching and ready.

but of course, a couple of decades later they got back on that bullshyt.

also people complaining about the burning and looting. Ill just say this, insurance covers it, and a year later we had brand new and even better stores in the hood. When you burn the forest, new trees spring up.

The people it hurts are the displaced workers.

The business owners and corporations will be alright in the long run.

you're moving the goalpost, you said they were "targeting everyone but the people who deserve it" i.e. the police.

But that is factually incorrect, they did come with smoke for the police, had the police retreating and crying over the radio that they're being pelted by rocks, pulled up at the precinct and caused damage, and even pulled up at the killer officer's house. But it's not easy to take over and destroy a building surrounded by armed police without getting shot.

Anyway like others have said, there's no winning with some of you. Black people are either too weak, or too violent, or not focused enough etc. We get criticized no matter what we do and have this impossible standard that we have to do everything 100% perfectly. But what group has ever fought a 100% perfect war?

But you have to realize there's no such thing as a perfectly coordinated violent protest involving so many different people, so overall I'm glad they're out there and showing that they're not gonna sit there passively while our people are murdered and commend their efforts. Much better than sitting around doing nothing.

Call me a c00n, but this is stupid. They’re destroying their own neighborhoods which will only hurt themselves down the line. Why are you destroying essential businesses in the middle of a pandemic? What happens when someone needs to go to Target next week? What happens if their car breaks down tomorrow? Those ATM’s also hold your innocent(and Black) neighbor’s money.

There have to be more effective ways to send the message.

The point of riots is to cause total anarchy so that it becomes open season to kil cops. (It never gets to that point). Rioters are like infantry. If shyt gets bad people with real guns show up and start merkin cops on site with no one to stop em. Wont belong before the national guard is called in.

Word on the street is people who don't even live there have traveled to the city yesterday.

murdering George Floyd was not necessary. refusing to arrest the murderer despite the murder being on film is not necessary.

A damaged Target and AutoZone location is so far from the list of top concerns in this situation that it's insulting some of you think it's worth mentioning in the context of George Floyd's murder like it's some tragedy. simply arrest the murderer already and you'll get your stupid Target and AutoZone that you care so much about back.
