Because of the nature of the incident, it appears he was successful in some sort of self defense plea, which got the charges (already fairly light), either dismissed or reduced.

That Mexican dude was damn near twice the gamestop employee's size.... but still tried to punk him by constantly walking up on dude while he was holding a knife..... The Mexican thought shyt was sweet and found out the hard way.... If a nikka pulls a knife out and says he'll stab me if I keep fukking with him..... I got sense enough to believe him and make some serious choices going forward
