There has been backlash for years towards his career as an actor who tries to force franchises while being inauthentic, overpaid and making zero classic movies.
The same would happen if he ran for public office. No really knows what he stands for anyway I could see a situation where tries to pander toward culture war stuff but apologizes for fear of losing the bag.

When I see names like Stephen A and The Rock getting presidential candidate shouts - the first thing that comes to mind is that quote by that c00n:
