My daughter used to play Minecraft but she had no interest in seeing this. shyt did crazy numbers, I guess shyt is still popular huh.
I dabble in it, I dug deep but never did anything with it. One of those game you play with a squad.

The SOHH clan at the time wasn't interested in it when it came out on Xbox 360. Maybe I started at the wrong time.

Rami Malek in The Amateur

A little bit, a lotta bit Elliott. (From Mr Robot)

Also a Middle Eastern guy is good at making IEDs? :mjpls:

Good, not as good as Black Bag. (In terms of espionage films).

Your boy does his things in the emotional moments, but I could write a thinkpiece about what the film was trying to say, or not..

Snow White about to face extinction at the box office, WB just running and gunning like Jalen Hurts, Disney playing like Aaron Rodgers...

Hate to see it.

Minecraft Continues to be Box Office Bedrock: Weekend Box Office Results (Apr. 11-13)

A Minecraft Movie just became the second highest grossing movie based on a videogame with $278.8M, passing Sonic the Hedgehog 3's $236.1M. That's in large part due to having the fifth best weekend ever for a movie based on a videogame with $78.5M. That's also the second best weekend for videogame movie, behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie's $92.3M. A Minecraft Movie literally doing videogame numbers. :wow:

Now we get to the new movies. And there were a slew of them released this weekend. And it's fitting that on the weekend before Easter, The King of Kings came through in a major way with $19.3M. That's a great showing especially with what it finished ahead of.

One of those movies that one might expect to do better was The Amateur with $14.8M. That's right in line with Jason Statham's recently released A Working Man's $15.5M. The difference? A Working Man was made for $40M while The Amateur was made for 50% more at $60M. The good news, The Amateur is rocking a solid B+ cinemascore to A Working Man's straight B. And A Working Man is already made $33.4M so perhaps The Amateur will have just a little bit better legs?

Alex Garland is back with Warfare which could only manage $8.3. That's a far cry from Civil War which opened on this very weekend last year with $25.5M. Warfare losing the battle and the war to Civil War. And yet another commercial disappointment from A24.:wow:

Universal dropped another PG-13 thriller - Drop which opened with $7.3M. That might be miniscule and it's certainly lower than their own A Woman in the Yard's 9.3M. However, it was only made for $11M. So Drop's $7.3M is 66% of its production budget. :manny:
