Thing is even with Jrue last year their defense was slipping.

Fact is, with Khris losing a step, their 3&D wings aren't up to par anymore...add this with Giannis not being as consistent defensively throughout an entire game, and you have the problem which started last year and has gotten progressively worse.

Whats up with all these teams having a hard on for Doc? I mean you got teams firing their head coaches just to get him. And guess what? IT NEVER WORKS. Clippers and Sixers never made it to the conference finals under Doc. Oh he's a championship coach. Dude hasn't won a ship since 2008. Can we stop using that ring as the only basis to judge Doc Rivers

It's not about the ring. The reason teams hire Doc is because his teams are generally competent. When you get Doc, you're getting stablity, a high floor and coach who can get along and manage stars well (for the most part). He gets all these chances because of what we just saw in Milwaukee. AG gets a shot as a first time head coach & they don't even resemble a functional team. Vet assistants quitting before the season, players beefing with the HC & the defense being downright horrible. We literally have coaches in this league losing 27 straight games. Can you blame an owner for choosing competency?

Folks forget that these teams are corporations at the end of the day and maintaining stability & profitability is what they're most looking for.

If winning a close game vs. the Pistons is a fireable offense then why is Mazzulla still around :francis:

@UpAndComing @GOAT @SchoolboyC @Raquinotj

We have 2 elite wings (Tatum and Brown) with 2 elite point guards (Derrick White and Holiday), and a mismatch problem (Porzingis)... But decide to abandon all of that and jack up 70 3-pointers a game

Why can't he just get fired :mjcry: :mjcry:
