lets say you take $5,000 and put it into a conservative account like 401k with a 7% interest rate and added $200 a month, look how fast the money would grow (graph below). now, you can look for opportunities to invest in business or real estate that have much better returns. imagine how much you could make, it's like having a second job, but you don't actually do any work! the money does all the work for you. and the more you have, the more you can invest in other things that have even better returns. mutual funds, businesses, stocks, bonds, cd's, real estate, etc.

Ive held down a job since 16, currently typing this at work. The nikka they interviewed in the article quit his job and is currently training....for another job. This article was all over the damn place.

They made a couple of decent points about a lack of attractive employment opprotunities. But, It seems more like a sizeable amount of the 500000 unemployed, are that way by choice.

How are 500k unemployed by choice.

as usual you talk out of your ass. cdl accidents do not mean you will get fired. they go on your record and affect your csa score, but they only stay on your record for 3 years.

Either way... its a trend that's been existing for years. Some call them lazy and entitled, others site a shrinking market of sustainable and respectable jobs.
