Terrible precedent. Couldn't they have worked this through the political process? This just undermined their election process.

They don't hate Americans, they hate American foreign policy. I don't understand why people can't see the distinction.

nobody takes that seriously though because of the almost genetic propensity of arabs to be a blatant hypocrite.

Need I remind yall that since the military coup of the 50s that is since the Nasser days..the military has had a choke hold on Egypt.

Let's review the presidents dating back to colonial Egypt:

Gamal Abdul Nasser (military general)

Anwar Sadat (military general)

Hosny Mubarak (military/airforce general)

The sheep in Egypt think the military is there to preserve their interests :lolbron:

It's classic case of different figurehead, same old structure.

Moral of the story...don't fukk with the SCAF(Military) they have and always will run shyt.

Morsi fukked up.
Being elected in a democracy doesn't give you license to do whatever you want (change the Constitution, install a semi-theocracy, fail to protect minority rights, etc)... The next step woud've been scrapping elections all together.
Dude was on his way to become another Mubarak :smh:

the funny thing is that they voted his azz in

whoever they choose next will do that same shyt

I guess it really depends on what happens next.
IF they hold another election then wow this might be one of the few (if not the only) time the military has stepped in and done the right thing..

if however...
They just install themselves as the leaders then well that's a dictator.

I hope for the latter and honestly based on how galvanized the population got I wouldn't be surprised if this ultimately ended up a win for the people.

I hope.

:scheme:

u know thats whats gonna happen

whose in charge of the military? hes the leader now

:heh:
