Morsi had everything going for him: Democratically elected, worldwide legitimacy, etc.
Then he got drunk with power, hooked up with islamist nuts (salafists) and tried to become another dictator :smh:

*sigh*

I want to see the Pyramids one day. When will things settle down over there?

shyt, and here I was thinking that the Egyptian people were sparking the second wave of their courageous revolution and ousting another Mubarak before history could repeat itself.

All along it was actually about your vacation plans. Yeah when will things settle down over there? Skooby wants to see the pyramids guys. Could you just, like, stop protesting for a bit? This man needs to see the pyramids.:upsetfavre:

This is all about their shyt economy, and Morsi became the scapegoat.
No one can fix an economy within one year, and this undermines their voting since they can change presidents everyother week now.

Bet you won't see this in MSNBC, CNN, Huffpost or The Major networks.

Obama called a b1tch and a dictator by Egyptian protestors

Coup Underway in Egypt - Carol Platt Liebau

How long until the Obama admin threatens this organization to remove this article?

Oh I know, this all because egyptians are racist? Or maybe they like Ron Paul? :laff:

Noble peace prize.....

And what's this? Even the God-Tier liberals (German Socialists) have withdrawn from the Obama cult?

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/30/o...ow-we-dont-trust-him.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

DURING Mr. Obama’s presidency, no American political debate has received as much attention in Germany as the N.S.A. Prism program. People are beginning to second-guess the belief that digital communication stays private. It changes both our perception of communication and our trust in Mr. Obama.

Even as a Green Party politician, I wasn’t impressed with Mr. Obama’s focus on fighting global warming. While his renewed enthusiasm is appreciated, it served as a distraction from the criticism he is currently facing for allowing invasive state surveillance. He cannot simply change the subject.

Damn it was all good a week ago. :ohlawd:

Morsi fukked up trying to take all the power. He obviously didn't think people would have noticed. I wonder if the Muslim Brotherhood are going to fight over this?

So, I guess that whole "democracy in the middle east" thing is going to continue to be a pipe dream Breh's ??

More like a work in progress.

So what's the solution? The army has let it be known that they will throw any leader in the bushes.

the solution is you organize and campaign effectively and vote Morsi out. you know, adhere to the democratic principles you're claiming you're fighting for.

what if the next president does shyt to piss off the Islamists like pursue minority rights and gender equality? all they all have to do is take to the streets and demand the generals take the bad man away.

Egypt, as the heart of the Arab world, set a terrible precedent today.

My brother was in Cairo until 2 days ago, it was fine for tourists. shyt may get ugly for the next few days, but Sharm etc should be fine.

Sinai is a whole other country. Vast and empty.

Morsi forgot to learn how to rule and learn from the mistakes of those who fell before him. He was good at being an opposition to Mubarak but once got into office he really thought he had a huge mandate.

Egypt is now back to square one. I pity the man that becomes President as the economy will further be damaged and the country even more polarized.
