Now Patriots fans are all on social media acting like this guy is the second coming of Jesus Christ but in football terms, Bill Belichick 
while making comments about Mayo and his tenure with the team being a DEI hire
Yeah, Mayo, a rookie coach, had a terrible year and might've been somewhat unprepared for the HC position, but it happens all the time. Bad coaches get jobs, and bad seasons follow; nothing new; teams go through down periods, it's just their time, yet New England fans are acting like this Mayo was the worst of the worst.
I guarantee you this new good ole boys club looking cac Vrabel gonna suck ass for the next few seasons as well

They set Mayo up and didn't want Vrabel to handle a rookie QB season. I think it's bs when you give a coach just 1 season because it means you never thought he was the guy and wasted their time. I hope Vrabel and the Patriots fail

TBH I wanted Ben Johnson but I understand why they went with Vrabel, I just want young dynamic co-ordinators to be hired now

This. I need to see who he hires as his OC! Ben Johnson would have handled the offense mainly so who he brought in as DC would have been interesting but Vrabel needs to get the OC right. Some talk about McDaniels but I don't want to go back there again!
