Foreman is an ATG...but I dont know what ppl see in a past prime Foreman that he would handle a prime Tyson easily
when foreman threw a jab, he moved you into his uppercut.

when tyson slipped his jab, he'd be slipping into his uppercut.

Very tough to call. Older Foreman paced himself better and he never lost a slug match. Closest was against Ron Lyle I would have loved to have seen young Foreman verses Earnie Shavers

You really think Tyson wouldn't see that slow ass uppercut coming?
Hell I doubt that that would even hurt mike because his form is so bad.

if you stood right in front of foreman, which he would, he'd keep punching until something hit you; with every punch missed, moving you into the next punch, and the next punch.

I can see prime Foreman getting that uppercut off,

but not the old past it version that was battling Holyfield and Morrison.

If you look at the KO slowly, You will see the real reason he gets hit is because he took his eyes of Foreman.

Mike doesn't do that. He keeps his eyes focused ready to throw the counter or slip the next punch. And his guard is up.

archie moore said, "you can use the jab to set a man up for what you want to do. you don't just move the head where you want it. you knock it. you knock it where you want it." moore trained foreman. if his eyes werent on foreman, it was because he knocked his head where he wanted it, as moore instructs.

you can slip the jab inside. you can slip the jab outside. you go under the jab, he'll scoop you back up with the uppercut.

uppercuts go between the gloves.

You're just selling the best possible outcome. Lets look at the full sequence.

Foreman is missing hella shots and is wide open for counters. He even attempt the jab/uppercut a multiple times and misses.
The full sequence tells a different story.

Now lets look at Mike. Laser sharp speed and precision. Foreman is just too sloppy for this.
