Couple thoughts:
Yeah GB and Arum are rumored to start working together, but that is GB fighters, not Haymon fighters. If Algieri has a working relationship with TR and HBO wants to keep putting Algieri on, then this fight will be a lot harder to make than they are letting on.
Sounds like the landscape of boxing may change next year - year of Haymon's attempted takeover - but we have heard no rumors of Haymon and TR wanting to work together.
Also, we all know that unless you are the true champion (Garcia at 140) these belts are garbage. Broner getting a belt doesn't establish him anymore resume wise. It may improve his marketability some, but it's Garcia's belt that actually means your are King at 140. Matthysse right now is a better opponent than Algieri if he is coming off a Pacquiao loss...now if Algieri wins...he still won't be available IMO - Pac will either want a rematch or TR will put him against one of their top fighters, JMM, Bradley, etc.
