The difference with me is that I'm open and honest about my inherent bias... I root for Black coaches and Black QB's because 1-I relate to them more personally. And 2-They have had so few opportunities for success..

Contextualizing shyt is essential, but holding teammates' success against a QB tends to be a selective employed tactic. We can rationalize the successes and failure of RGIII's, Wilson's, and Luck's teammates in al kinds of ways. Maybe Morris is running his ass off because RGIII is so dynamic he keeps the defense off kilter. Maybe Indy's running game sucks because teams focus on neutralizing it so Luck will throw some inaccurate passes they have a good chance of intercepting. Maybe Wilson's defense gets an adrenaline boost from seeing his baby hair and his wife's dino mouth. We can't say for sure, so we usually use the numbers. Luck ain't got the numbers.

But Luck has been far from a scrub and no where in the same category as Sanchez..The turnovers are bad but typical for a rookie and him breaking Cam's rookie pass record while taking the team with the leagues worst record to the playoffs can't be ignored..As well as the 4th quarter comebacks (even if they are against bad teams)

He wouldn't be my first choice.. But I'm not gonna be mad or suprised that he's in the conversation.. He's earned it...

If you take Russell out of Seattle, they'd still beast with their D and Beast Mode.

The difference is we root for black athletes and a lot of times whites root against black athletes. Blacks don't hate any particular athlete based off skin tone (White, latino, etc) but the same can't be said vice versa.
