Not one say something funny mike clip. I understand it's only an hour but they really delve into some of the comedy the show would bring from time to time. They showed the marquis for like a second

He's been mentioning Podcasts for a while now... so I see him delving into that. His following is huge so he can still make some good money.

Will be weird to see mike do mostly national topics

Can't really do local topics talking met bullpen for hours on a podcast

Mike and the Mad Dog were damn near the perfect show. Mike on his own is still a juggernaut, I have to listen to show after every Giants L, Mets fukk up, or pretty much any major sports issue.

It's been funny hearing grown men calling up with damn near tears in their eyes saying they will miss Mike when he leaves at the end of the year.

First time, long time should be on his grave.

Who the fukk thought 1 hr was enough to cover the gawds? :dahell:

The disrespect :hhh:

I was listening to Mad Dog station on my way to the gym this afternoon, and the dude who was on the air, I think it was Steve Torre (?) was explaining that. Originally it was slated to be one of those 30 for 30 shorts that ESPN does, but when they did the research they found they had a lot more material to work with, so they had requested to bump it up to an hour. The work that went into making it that long kind of discouraged them from trying to make it any longer, plus apparently there were logistics issues with time, location, etc. He had interviewed Chris Carlin who used to produce for Mike and Dog, and the thought was that a lot of people felt like there was enough material to at least go for an hour and a half.
