The pod is fine and exactly what you want but it's hilarious hearing mike say "we're here talking with so and so" after a commercial like people listening already dont know who he is interviewing. It's that radio habit

Joe Benigno on the other hand is WASHED. He’s totally leaning into the MAGA crowd and sounds straight up clueless. I don’t even think it’s worth checking in to hear him bytch about the Jets, which is crazy to say. Now he sounds like a whiny caller who longs for 1969. Evan was doing God’s work reining him in because by himself, he regurgitates the same shyt. Joe kinda makes me wish he never sees a Super Bowl again.

100%…don't know why I put myself through the Benigno episode where he interviewed Sid Rosenberg but whatever.

Those Mike podcasts where he talks to Bobby Valentine from his car phone or Bluetooth can’t happen anymore though. It’s terrible content, and I feel like they realized that.

Mike gotta get a new microphone or receiver or whatever can get rid of that static noise though.

i thought so too, yeah the other poster pointed out, his background would make you think republican but on the overnight he never seemed that way, he seemed more like into 60s music and drugs type of culture, i always thought he was way less racist than mike and dog. like mike didnt surprise me at all going for trump
