I only bet on football but I will get this App during baseball and basketball season just for Mike.
I’ll be listening.I also listen to JJ’s “New York, New York” podcast on The Ringer for local takes. His time stamps help too because I’ll only catch a couple segments I care about.
I don’t listen to sports radio at all…only all types of podcasts these days. So it’s good to catch some of these more regional sports podcasts a couple times a week.
Assuming it’ll be on Spotify, Apple? It better be…he can’t be that dumb again.

I don't think that's it. I think he thinks his opinion/voice on sports is that important it needs to be heard out in the media ether. So still ego driven but not about Dog. I heard Mike was coming back before Dog was on First Take.The only reason Francesa is coming back is because Mad Dog got the gig on First Take

Yeah it's likely this was in works for a while but I remembered how upset Mike would look when Mad Dog used to get on Letterman's show by himself. Next day he would always be seething, those 10 seconds in between breaks on YES TV were golden

Outside of the shows where he focuses on horse racing, his show isn’t bad. Granted, no callers and he controls emails, but it’s short and to the point.
Joe Benigno on the other hand is WASHED. He’s totally leaning into the MAGA crowd and sounds straight up clueless. I don’t even think it’s worth checking in to hear him bytch about the Jets, which is crazy to say. Now he sounds like a whiny caller who longs for 1969. Evan was doing God’s work reining him in because by himself, he regurgitates the same shyt. Joe kinda makes me wish he never sees a Super Bowl again.
