I’ve tried to watch a few Mike Epps stand ups and

I can just go down to the gas station in the hood to hear “nikka you ole...lookin ass!!” Or “you ever been passing a blunt and...” type jokes....nothing special there imo

But he’s a Grade A hater, when he was starring in movies with Cube I don’t remember anybody hating on him

Add to the fact he was riding Chris Tuckers coat tails into Friday, and Chris was way funnier.

I do think people hated on him a bit because he literally went from being a nobody to the biggest comedian in the world seemingly overnight. Before him I didn't realize how successful you could be from doing stand-up. He was selling out stadiums and arenas like it wasn't nothing

Ive just always been a big fan of comedy... really stand up comedy... i feel like its a true art form...Transcends race and gender (even tho i haven't seen a really good female comic yet) Bill Burr is incredible, dane isnt like him but hes better than alot of black comedians... i dnt find some funny at all because they are very simplistic with the shyt... "white ppl do this.... my momma use to do this" type jokes...
And alot of white comics arent well versed in things that can make everyone laugh..
Chris rock vs the average joe blow black dude doing comdey is miles apart... he can talk about reg hood shyt, grown man shyt, and social issues with a great incite.
And obviously Patrice was on another level as well...
But Louis Ck was my dude for a min too...
