There are fools who still think the government killed him, or that he was destined to die early. He said himself he was going to die early...Well of course you will if you're living reckless. Pac got a second chance after surviving getting shot and getting out of jail. But instead of building positively he wanted to start wars and get into gangbangin. There were traces of the old Pac in his Deathrow days, but he honestly brought a whole lot of negative energy to himself and hip-hop. Even his homegirl Jada wasn't on speaking terms with him at the time he got shot in Vegas because of how he was acting

well his whole movement was
The Hate U Give Little Infants fukk Everything.

Technically what it means is downright rebellion because of the pain youve endured.

The downturn of that philosophy is when THUGLIFE turned from being "a black american against the injustices of white society" to "me against the world cause people I thought was friends shytted on me, I got shot 5 times, and I was locked up for shyt I didnt do".

The movement became toxic.

The govt I dont think killed him, but I strongly believe they had a role in assasinating his character and shifting his focus.

2Pac was a living example of divide and conquer. Shift his anger to those around him and he is now no longer a revolutionary threat.

I wish I could locate the article, and I can't even remember who printed it, be it the Source, or XXL. The article interviewed one of the Hughes brothers, and I believe it was related to Pac trying out for the Menace flick. One of the brothers stated there was a part where Pac had to punch someone and he said it was obvious that he wasn't that dude. Like the punch was thrown by someone who wasn't used to throwing their hands. That said, it goes without saying that his actions were wreckless to say the least. I mean, we laugh and clown all the early mid-life crisis Bloods in the industry, cliqueing up in their twenties and going out of their way to let audiences know that they're affiliated. When you think about it, them doing such isn't anything new as Pac did it first. Sad when you think about it. Reminds me of an old Bible verse, Ecclesiastes 9:4-5, "a live dog is better than a dead lion."

Regardless, RIP to that man. We lost a great voice, and one can't help but wonder how powerful his voice and impact would have been had he lived long enough to mature.
even Marlon Wayans said it while on ESPN promoting his latest film. He was saying that Pac was not the hard, gangsta dude he claimed to be...and he was a friend of Pac's too.

he did that as a defense mechanism, and got caught up with the big boys who were probably extorting him anyway...which led to him being clapped up.

Chris Brown is looking to head down that path now apparently. Lil Wayne tried it, but stopped a few years ago & headed towards the safer skateboarder direction instead. :mjlol:

When was big ever considered a Gang Banger or tough guy

he acted a fool sometimes, but all rappers do that because most of them have personality disorders, and can become very dangerous at the blue

but what was fake about pac, he never lied about anything like rick ross

he was honest with himself that's why he has so many fans

pac didn't grow up no gangsta/thug so I never perceived him like that, despite his antics. when you really about that shyt you were ALWAYS about that shyt, we can go talk to your middle school teachers and they'd say "yeah, that lil nig was a problem". you don't just boom, become a knucklehead at 20-21 years old, so I chalked all Pac's thug shyt up to him feeling like he had to carry himself a certain way to fit in with the dudes that he wanted to accept him. BUT, nothing about 2pac seemed like a sucka, nothing about his upbringing and who he was would lead you to believe he was a sucka, so when people question his authenticity what does it mean? that he wasn't no super street dude naturally, or that he was a punk? you don't randomly see another black man being attacked by whites and decide to stop your car and come to his aide if you're a punk. even after those white dudes identified themselves as cops pac still clapped at them, lol. he was authentic in terms of being a stand up dude, he just wasn't no gangsta, IMO. and lol @ mike d just off the strength, the beastie boys always been pure trash to me, his opinion means nothing

Doesn't matter. He didn't have true gangster motives so he was a fraud. I'm a half Italian 45 year old movie director and I'm tougher than Pac ever was...

:russ: Wait, wait, wait!!!

You're 45? :ahha:
You're not black? :ahha:
You're arguing with teens/young adults, on a black message board, about how real 2pac was...a man you never met? :ahha:

:mjlol: Muthafuucka...if you don't log off and raise ya kids...

This niigga need to be more worried about his IRA and paying for little Skylers college education...not Tupac's "street credibility".:heh:

I think he said he did, told Pac his tat should say Hug Life and he looked like Snuffaluffagass with them eyelashes:laff:....No Pac didn't dramatically look at Marlon with the :wtb: and pull out the fofo and kill Marlon.

But its funny cats take what people who hung out with em on movie sets as who he was as gospel, but ignore nikkas like Spice 1,Syke,Richie Rich,Shock G who all agree Pac was a goofy nice dude too,but he was reckless at times too...matter of fact dont take they word for it Pac said he was a nice guy too:laff:

But folks wanna have it all one way I guess, either a complete punk or thuggin at all times:manny:...I agree Pac felt like he had to prove himself if somebody tested em as a matter of pride...but how is that some rare shyt:patrice:?...that aint rap shyt that's black male shyt, half the nikkas yall idolize wit bodies caught em cuz they thought somebody was testin em or they feelings got hurt:heh:...sorry ya favorite goon probably aint a robotic killer like the Terminator,he probaly a prideful/sensitive nikka

Marlon wayans could have said this shyt in magazines and on TV, but never did

but all of sudden twenty years later he want to say it, dude reeks of fakeness

he probably felt like tupac wasn't hard, but was too scared to say to his face, and coudln't understand why the hood fukked with him, which had had nothing to do with being gangsta

When was Pac ever projected has a some terminator super gangster though

nikkaz talking about he couldnt throw a punch on a movie set or something lol

what does that have to do with being real, a lot of hood dudes can't fight like that

some the best fighters are nerds

what does have to do with anything

yall projection of a real nikka is what a problem is

Tupac is an icon because has an artist he was not afraid to show you who he was

BIg is the fake he grew up in a nice home and had something to prove

Pac grew up in the Hood

They talk about the Baltimor school of arts like that shyt wasn't in the hood lol

Aaliyah went to a school like that detroit it was in the hood too lol

so what exactly is pac being fake about

what about his background did he lie about

the reason pac was shot remains a mystery

these mike d would even speak on pac if he was still alive

You say this like sayin' Pac was actually a nice, cool dude was an insult... Marlon Wayans, by my knowledge, never insulted Pac. He was always cool with Pac, he was just sayin' he was a good dude. And he probably was. Which makes it more fukked up that he got the battery put in his back by people to keep up that image, which led to his demise. What I don't think Pac understood is that even if he had street dudes with him and had love from street dudes, that wasn't him. Doesn't mean he was soft... but Pac lived in the studio. Lived for being creative. Stayed shooting movies and videos. These nikkas he was out there interacting with don't give a fukk about a movie, recording music, or writing, or none of that shyt. Whole different mentality. By mixin' in with that shyt, he was out of his league- and that goes for the NY shyt AND the Cali shyt.
