Also what this trial says to me is that most Americans just don't bother with critical thinking when it matters. Like they can't process the idea that Mike Brown may have been a flawed person, and still got killed unjustly.
They need everything to be explained in terms of perfect binaries - they need that familiar good guy bad guy narrative. The fact that the good guy in this situation was black, while the bad guy was white, just makes everything all the more confusing. Its supposed to be the other way around
