I mean that stadium in dallas is pretty fukking huge. Why not hold an event of that magnitude in that arena. It would definitely allow for more real fans to see it live in person than Vegas would with their 12,000 seating capacity.

I'm all about boxing growing around the country. It'd be nice for big fights to have a chance of happening anywhere sometimes instead of the usual Vegas, NYC, Atlantic City, California...etc..

It helps build the sport.
It's Arum's idea... Thats literally the only reason these petty nikkas have a problem with it

The problem people have with it, is because fighting Canelo Alvarez in Texas is basically a home game for Canelo and we all know Cotto will not agree to it. Why put in your own obstacles into the fight negotiations when trying to make a fight, possibly delaying the agreement.

Fight would be more neutral in Vegas.

Right because Vegas wasn't a home game for Floyd when Cotto fought him and Canelo doesn't have a huge Mexican fanbase there as well... I was at the Canelo/Lara fight... It was a good 75-80% Mexican up in there.. Aint no neutral for Cotto because he's not A-side :mjlol:

whats arums obession with dallas?
no one wants to see a fight like that over there
vegas or ny and stfu
Probably because Jerry Jones is willing to pony up some serious bank to get fights in his stadium. He has gone on record as wanting to make Cowboys Stadium a boxing hotspot.

There aint shyt neutral about Las Vegas when you are fighting a popular Mexican fighter.
And all of this is nonsense...Cotto will fight anywhere as long as he is compensated for making the concession.

Vegas is more neutral than fighting in Texas breh.

You dont fight Canelo Alvarez in Texas, on Cinco De Mayo Weekend, if you're Miguel Cotto. You're asking to not have a fair shake at all.

Texas is already crooked anyways...no way Cotto wins a decision over Canelo in Texas. Vegas is a little more likely, even though they favor certain fighters, Texas is pretty much Little Mexico when it comes to boxing.

No way can I see that fight happening there at all.
