It's the only venue that makes sense for both of them...

Yes Vegas will still give Cotto a heavy Mexican turnout but its not like fighting in Mexico which is what Dallas would be...

I know Cotto wants NY for the heavy PR turnout but if you're chasing the pay day it makes no sense to donate a hefty portion of your purse to the NY state welfare tax...

I mean that stadium in dallas is pretty fukking huge. Why not hold an event of that magnitude in that arena. It would definitely allow for more real fans to see it live in person than Vegas would with their 12,000 seating capacity.

I'm all about boxing growing around the country. It'd be nice for big fights to have a chance of happening anywhere sometimes instead of the usual Vegas, NYC, Atlantic City, California...etc..

It helps build the sport.
