yall accept anything, this album is pretty bad. dudes just yelling on the tracks at this point, zero effort. their hooks have gotten super lazy, they've always had some repetitive hooks sprinkled thru projects but damn, that's 80% of the songs here. verses were weak as well as a lot of the production.

Great comparison. I'm still a little fuzzy on this whole "playlist" thing. How exactly is a playlist different from an album?

I guess you could say this is a playlist but even still, I think they put out too much content that's hard to distinguish from each other

So no sequencing, doesn't flow or feel like an album. I think that's what they did, a whole lot of singles, a playlist. Pick what you like and make your own album

sequencing is off, there's no cohesion. it feels like a compilation of pop songs.

gang gang is honestly the worst song i have heard this year so far.

I'm not quite sold on the whole playlist thing. I think it's just a cop-out to ensure we as the consumers don't critique the finished product as hard as we would an album.

Just like if you say something is a mixtape people are lenient with the quality because they understand it's not meant to be "album quality".

"Views" wasn't well recieved by fans or critics but when "More Life" dropped and Drake said "it's a playlist" I think it skewed the way we as consumers rated it.

The label should have told Migos to tighten this up a bit. I like the album. The highlights of it are great, but there is some shyt I’ll never play again too ... unlike Culture 1.

Thing is Culture 1 had a better intro and then bounced right into Tshirt which was flames. Set tone for rest of the album.

This one takes a lot longer to get going.
