strange is a bum can't convince me otherwise
Strange is weird because half of his stuff is support, but his other high damage half requires other characters to be feeding him heroism. It's really cool on paper, but at the end of the day I'm just going to bring Wolverine instead.

Nah, he's great as support. He gets that 2 resistance force field when you level him up and has the card for 4 plays + damage increase.
he's really not. especially by the time you start getting mods on other cards

every action spent with strange stops losing value quick. once you start stacking mods on free cards like.... what is the point of strange :mjlol:

Strange would be in a much better spot if the majority of his enhanced cards didn’t burn all the heroism. I’m not trying to burn 6 heroism with some of the shyt he’s doing.

Also, by end game, you can find a lot of ways to generate a shytload of heroism, so characters like The Hunter or Strange that can multiply damage with the more you have generated the more OP they are. You got characters that can generate heroism naturally with each turn.

Axe of angarrumus can hit for 900+ damage easily with 6 heroism and some skill upgrades. Same thing with all in for Hunter and Annihilation, it just requires the right team set up.

When you want high damage dealing moves to take out bosses you need skills like that

I honestly think Carol is the worst character in the game. She starts out really strong because of her tanking and countering ability but she basically becomes useless once you get captain america. Not only that but her offensive moves become pretty weak in comparison to other people. captain american can get defensive and strength buffs along with infinite counter attacks.

Nothing worse than building carol up to her binary form and having 2 or 3 enemies still knock her out

its just..... a matter of priority to me lol

you don't need defensive buffs if everything is dead and with the way resist works there is no point to lean on concealment ever. the offensive characters that snowball or lay down wide debuffs have way more use on higher difficulties imo

and some characters are best as props for others to work against - like carol might be whatever as a tank on her own, but anyone who has a mass-taunt ability is great simply because there's a ton of things you can do to enemies once they're taunted

I feel you on that, things like concealment are pretty situational. If I couldn't get the first wave completely wiped, I found I relied on move+shoves into things that could stun to keep us safe. Otherwise like you'd said, get a taunt on someone with built up block+counter.

Some of those other/less lethal skills came in handy when annoying reinforcements like the tall Rihanna's.
