this outrage over ai art is only going to get worse the better it gets.
I've been paying attention to both sides of the argument. Illustrators and digital artists have been tilted against it the more they see how good it is.

I do see a possibility for it to be a replacement to artists eventually, but not right now. It's best used as a reference or for ideation. As it gets better, I'm sure more will be possible. I see it eventually devaluing digital art tho. Soon, as these tools get more available, or lets say Google jumps into this and makes a "free" option, our timelines and feeds will be full of AI generated images. The easier it is to produce high level stuff, the quicker people will be accustomed to seeing it... all the time. I envision a saturated internet becoming even more saturated with content.
