That it wouldnt be the full slate. They had to move that podcast up and rush it after there was mass panic and tried to downplay the games being ported. A year later you are going to see halo, starfield and pretty much every release moving forward. That was not the message being sent a year ago

Yea but these other companies INNOVATE. MS is usually just throwing money at something that someone else is already doing. Like Windows. Now that worked in 1983, but it's 2025 now. They haven't been the lead dev on something major in a long ass timeAs if Sony doesn't have at least a dozen more hardware flops.
All companies gonna have flops
They are primarily a software company, there most successful and innovative items are mostly software related or tech that makes use of that software.
They aren't built on a bunch of innovative hardware really but the stability and integration of existing tech and software and improving that. This is something that the Xbox is for them.
Sony has so many failed innovative hardware products, UMD, the memory sticks, mini disc... just to name a few. But for some reason people love to list zune, phones, and mixer
