Coming for the Macbook crown. About time. Without a doubt Macbooks are some of the best designed and overall best laptops out and I got one and am a stan for it but I only got it because there was no windows machine that can boast durability and such a streamlined device that is comparable. There were a few but they were lacking in areas where the Macbooks weren't and their customer reviews scared me a bit. I've had so many laptops of late crap out on me that were supposedly descent (fan always going into jet engine mode not due to a BiOS issue either, Chassis cracking or deforming, screen issue, etc) while the mac has been reliable and no issues so far .

Also the OS X has built in free IDE (Xcode) and Terminal which I use for coding so it works out for my needs.


My gf wants a macbook, and I might cop this if it turns out to be as good as it looks and give her my mac.

2012.... I think I see them going on amazon for about 500 or something. The 2015 Macbook air is selling for 899/999 for 11 and 13 respectively which is higher spec than the 2012 Pro outside of harddrive space so you're not getting 1200 for it.

I only use my laptops for school and work. They're never my main machine and I never speed more money than needed on them. Not walking around with a 1500-2400 machine.
