There's nothing critical about "look I was right, all these people got fired like I said they would. I'm always right"

I get you want to be the smartest guy in the room, but this ain't it.

but carry on...I'm done.
If that's how you and the Stanley crew want to read into it to avoid the humble pie go ahead.

This was me telling you dudes that more than likely lay off were happening regardless of the merger and not strictly because of it. In which I was all kinds of a dumb Xbot, now you want to shift over to "your right but at what cost" type of deal as if I placed a bet or hoped for Layoffs:mjlol:

Folks, you literally bumped this topic to gloat that you were right about people getting laid off like you made a field goal or something.

MS could have more than afforded to keep them staffed. Pretty ass to roll with the cuts just because the last guy was gonna do it.

No I bumped this thread to gloat about being right after you and other Stans told me I was dumb and wrong.

Let's be clear on that.

Microsoft approves new $60 billion share buyback program.

Laid off thousands this year, approves $60 billion stock buyback program.

Giant corporations aren’t charities. They don’t pay workers they don’t have to just because they can afford it. The CEO is there to make the shareholders money and his pay is a reflection of that. They’re the second most valuable company in the world and depending on the day the most valuable and he put them there.

Ultimately if they can run the business the same with 10 people that they could with 20 then they are getting rid of those extra 10 workers and using the capital that would pay them elsewhere.

Ain’t nobody boot licking shyt. My shares of Microsoft are up 255% and I bought them 2019-2021. That doesn’t factor in the dividends. The gains are worth more than the initial investment.

Nadella earned what he makes by making the shareholders money. The nerve of somebody to compare his pay to the average worker. Do we compare what LeBron makes to the fukking ball boy? That’s just as dumb a comparison.

The game is played the way it’s played and you can either get in on it or get ran over by it.
