Microsoft hit for 29 billion in unpaid taxes

So about 1.2% of their overall value....that's not nothing but they can handle it.

Question is whether the government enforces it or just allows M$ to tie it up in court and we all forget about it.

They'll likely go through the same thing that Amazon went through.
