I was told that 1st party games would be permanent to gamepass. Not only is the game leaving gamepass but it’s being completely delisted from the store permanently, this game came out only in 2017. So you will not even be able to purchase the game or it’s DLC digitally after the 15th.

What makes it even worse is that there’s no replacement. Forza Motorsport 8 is not due to release until late next year.

This is the future yall want?

Insert juelzing about $1 for 3 years and if you subscribed only to play one specific game you're an idiot, and you should be looking at the wide variety of other games which offer tremendous value to those who aren't Sony stans

Every Forza game gets delisted due to licensing.

Damn dummy thought he had one :mjlol:

Microsoft can’t pay that? With their unlimited war chest it should be pennies?

So microsoft being cheap is the reason why an entire game is being delisted on the storefront. A game that came out the same year as breath of the wild, mario odyssey, horizon zero dawn, resident evil 7 ,etc.

No they’re not gonna keep paying for those licenses when they have to pay for them for a new game. That’s dumb

It’s ok breh, you thought you had one here but you don’t.

Something else will come up for another thread later

I know another racing sim that came out in 2017 thats not being taken off the store front. :mjpls:

Fact is if you get an xbox after september 15th or fail to purchase this game you will not have access to a Forza Motorsport game via gamepass or via storefront. Thats a really weird precedent to set

It will be eventually. Sony probably pays for a longer period up front cause they know polyphony takes 13 years between each game :mjlol:

Funny how in another thread yall are talking about Microsoft buying take two like it’s nothing, but here yall coming up with reasons why licensee is too much money for microsoft to renew for a year

Why would they keep paying for an old license for the old game when they’ll simply replace it with the new one?

For the people that really want the old game there’s ways to preserve access to it like buying the game or buying a piece of DLC for it.

This agreement is in such bad faith its laughable.

Uhm…because the new one ain’t out yet and won’t be for another year at least. If someone gets a series s/x for Christmas this year and want to buy a racing sim they are assed out, especially series S owners
