Activision Blizzard was going to go on sale or sell their IP's anyway due to sexual assault lawsuits piling against the company more than likely anyway... Microsoft is one of the few companies with a big enough bag to buy them outright, Sony did not have the funds otherwise they obviously would of bid.

The sale made sense im legit confused why this may not go through, as the government allows Meta to buy any social media competition
