What is there for me to answer?

Their conclusion is far and away from the complaints and concerns sony stan’s been running with the last few years.

It’s hilarious to see the arguments change and everyone running to the defense of “cloud” gaming.

I was the only one here to say that cloud was where microsoft would actually run into some problems with the deal.

Once again through all the noise i was correct :ehh:

But i still think the deal goes through. Microsoft seems very determined and they will do whatever they need to make it work. Same as i said from jump :manny:

and if the deal DOESNT GO THROUGH ON THE APPEAL????

Whats even funnier is Activision has to sign a new marketing deal eventually, and its likely going to be with Sony again. Sony can pretty much get marketing rights to COD for another 5 years which makes the acquisition even more useless

Sony already working on a COD substitute(not killer). Plus we don't know how the new Factions 2 gonna turn out. But being ND most ambitious project, you know piff is coming. MS working on what? They have no second plans.

Pretty much, and if im Jim Ryan, im just putting those marketing dollars toward the new Bungie game, Factions, and Deviations game.

Sony getting any type of benefit from Activision.

What do you think Activision are going to do, pivot to xbox and their 20 million sales with an audience thats attached to a subscription service and expected to get the game for free?

At the end of the day if Activision is not under Microsoft they are highly dependent on Sony, and Sony isn’t going to pass up another marketing deal. Kotick has already been talking about re-upping. They have shareholders to appease, they don’t have room for pettiness.

Activision also knows how dependent Sony is on their products. It isn’t that straightforward anymore.

Sony’s next aim will now be to sign a long term deal with Activision. Activision can either gamble and hope the deal is approved in the next two years or sign the long term deal with Sony which will pretty much kill the acquisition
