Found out last month that I have to go back into the office 2 days a week starting in September . Only people who live over 30 miles away from a hub are exempt for this .

It doesn't justify paying someone less if they're still able to perform their job. Some jobs require someone to physically be at the job site. I'm in healthcare so I HAVE to physically be at the hospital. I'm not hating on folks who have a job that can easily be done from home.

Compensation negotiations consider all of that.

Work from home is worth it just for the fact that it would cut down on C02 emissions drastically if was a worldwide standard, and maybe stop global warming from butt fukking us. I forgot how much they dropped when covid happened and we were all stuck inside, but the earth was definitely way better off with us being in a pandemic. It's time to quit dikksucking the heads of these corporations because they're stuck in shytty lease agreements and because they're wierdos who can't make friends outside of work.
