It was a mix of him loving the spotlight too much and not knowing how to say no. Jericho is the same way, but he's protected in working what's basically a seasonal schedule
Loved his feuds with taker,hhh and rocky and he had one of the goat matches v HBGOAT(no surprise there) but somethin always made me dislike foley he plays off the oh i am so nice shyt too much when u know he has a massive ego.he fukked over his legacy for cash but he seems like thats what he cared most about anyway so i doubt he cares to much.

I do wish Foley had left in ring wrestling alone in 2000 and just stuck with commissioner type roles. He deserves the nod no questions but this years class is loaded. Somebody had to ride in the trunk of the limo unfortunately.

This thread just goes to show you what unappreciative a$$holes wrestling fans truly are. No respect for a guy who broke his body for our entertainment, and gave us countless memories and moments as wrestling fans. But because hes older, heavier, and cornier (all comes with aging, and lord knows what kind of brain damage hes working with), they wanna justify shtting on him.
How soon they forget....They do the same thing to Mysterio, Sabu, etc. Now that they are used up and cant fly off cages anymore, fans wanna throw 'em in the bushes. My man Foley cant even get a night to honor his legendary career; a career where a million people told him he'd never make it, and he ended up as one of the biggest stars in the best era in wrestling history. And they bump him for that racist shtbag, Trump? And wrestling fans are cool with it?
