Exactly. You put it into better words than me but I've been saying this about certain black cats male/female. You notice this when dudes start getting money and switching environments.
facts. i only said certain, specific black women because lately it seems they've begun to align themselves more heavily with white supremacist tallking points than black men, largely due to the fact that there is no economic system in place specificially for black people. can't create your own ideology if you don't even have your own schools.

If we're being SUPER honest , Michelle was a boss LONG before Barack was. She made more money than he did before those books came out too :whew:
It's like that in a lot of relationships. Women slide the debit card under the table so the man can pay for dinner. She works to put him through grad school. She is paying half or not most the bills but to the public he is the breadwinner. She is sending out resumes and motivating him to get off the couch, more than him. Even Sheila Johnson, ex wife of Bob Johnson founder of BET, use her connections and credit to launch the network (she is from old black money, Bob was a country nikka first generation in college) and in the end get cheated on and mistreated. It is said that Einstein's first wife, a physicists herself who did the research with him(and to this day the scientific community slights her like the do madam curry), decided to stay married for years enduring emotional abuse. She stayed after doing probabilities of his Nobel Peace prize winning and decided to stay in it for the money, he ended up cheating on her with and then marrying his cousin.

I talk to a lot of brehettes whose great aunts and grandmas who are in lifelong marriages talk about the bullshyt that they endured. Probably why you have so many women who are career focused or wanting to do them, marriage isn't a priority. Also a lot of women are single mothers while married so it's best to be a single mom in relative peace. :manny: Even the major three religions uphold this behavior. Even brehs on here think just because they go to the gym and work a job above median income they are entitled to an IG ho. Basically Michelle is saying no more playing second fiddle when ideally.

I'm starting to get this perspective more and more. Just as we see white folks as being coddled by society, we have to realize that we too as men have a similar advantage ( but not even close in terms of scale to what white folks have).

We have to realize this and not get defensive when attention is brought to it because that is exactly what white people do :wow:

You need to stop bringing race into this... we are not 50% of the population, don't account for majority of all consumer purchases
and have no political pull whatsoever

Men just have higher highs and lower lows... women just want the highs :yeshrug:

To be constructive, she should of kept that comparison between sexes to herself.

I'm not going to do a deep dive into sociology here but men generally do not check each other in the way that women do. She would probably realize that if she had a son.

The call for men to check each other more often is fine but she has to understand it's harder for Black men due to white supremacy, and that men do it differently.

i didnt say you said it, it's all the same line of thought. it's called subtle implication. reread your own post.

when you start comparing black men to cacs, you've crossed a line. we don't live in a system of black male supremacy.
Sigh, you're defensiveness doesn't allow you to get rid of your bias. No where did I imply black men oppressed black women. All i stated is we have an advantage over them :yeshrug:

Very straightforward and factual.

I bring race in this to give you perspective. It's hard to follow if you don't have the proper context.
