i'm sure you could find a white equivalent.

cac gonna cac than, but at the same thing this is a community issues when young men grow up only focusing on sports and rap. Whites do it too but most of the time they go to college (parents force them too) while black parents only on focus on their kids making it into the big league just to buy them a house.

Growing up all I heard was "my boy is gonna be a football or basketball star" nikkas didnt even get high enough on the SATs. Now its too late for them to smarten up, they give up hope and fall off.

Gonna make sure my kids put them books first and sports last.

I'm sure this could be defended with her speaking to a black audience so she related it to them.

A lot of the things she said, except the specific stats about black children, are true of children of other races as well.

Instagram shows lots of girls across all races want to grow up to be socialites or what have you. I've walked miles home from school once. That shyt was not fun.

Now, that thread title is kind of bait-ey. You know some people won't click that link

This board 24/7 shyts on black women and black people in general for being too hood or being ignorant but when Michelle Obama tries to say some shyt you same nikkas don't like it? Let me ask you white washed mafukkas this, what should she tell these "ignant" nikkas you love to diss? That they are heading in the right direction and doing a good job? You same nikkas would come in and criticize her for praising black youths in this country.

And also, a lot of you dudes stay exposing yourself as cacs or nikkas who grew up around nothing but cacs if you don't notice mad nikkas don't value education.

:whoa: I can't criticize her on this one based off the fact she's talking at a black college.....Y'all need to fall back,I've never seen Michelle try to distance herself from black people so she can criticize....now Obama on the other hand bein that he has imo tried to distance himself, even though I know he probaly had to it still rubs me the wrong way when he criticizes, plus I don't think he came up among black people like Michelle......so I don't know it just feels different coming from him even when its valid....it would be like Drake makin songs talkin down on what black folks do,and what we need to do to get our communitys right:heh:

And yes I do respect them both as black men,but that's how I would feel about certain subject matter coming from them....Michelle Obama and Ice Cube can do shyt like this...Obama and Drake:usure:....I don't know they can too,but they gottta take it easy and tread careful:whoa:

The more that I think about it, the more the speech doesn't seem to make sense to me.

For starters her audience is exactly the opposite of what she is preaching about. The article says that she spoke to Bowie State graduates...but why? I mean it's pretty obvious that her audience isn't the best example of what she's referring to.

Why didn't she take herself a few miles down to those crumpled, roach infested hoods of DC and speak to the people who needed to hear it?

More wasted time, more wasted money...

Another day in the black community

Yeah because noone their has relatives or friends in the audience who aren't graduating college. And noone outside of that arena would hear her message. Oh wait, how did it make it on here? :comeon: I hope Michelle and Barack keep talking about this because this shyt is a huge problem in our community.

They won't get anywhere with their "message" if they aren't delivering to the right audience.

What's the point of preaching the importance of attending college, rather than hoop dreams and to aspiring wanna be rappers, if the audience members are already college graduates themselves?

Take that shyt to the inner city schools and community centers if you expect to get the full value off your message across.

or average hood nikkas that wanna be cacs :scusthov:

And soon as a thread is made about a nikka who choose to rapping over going to college, you'll have all these same sambos in here talking about "Black people need to do better" and "typical black people problems" type of shyt. This board is full of too many white washed dudes, cacs, and old hood nikkas who tryna fit in on here, so they follow them lames. :snoop:

So if their only audience was in that arena, how the fukk are we hearing about it on here? :wtf:
