You just don't get it do you?

:laff:

What is there to get?

Athletes don't give a fukk about a 2500 fine, why would they?

I believe players care a lot more about missing games than some pocket change and coaches would be 10x harder on these guys about boozing and cruising if they were going to miss games off of it.

Crazy thing about it is he had just played at home. Couldn't he have waited til he went home to after the game to get faded. I know he could have called some p*ssy to the crib if that's what he was after.

Oh right.
Mike Turner's baby mama beat up his girlfriend on his front lawn until the cops arrived (that one time).

Handsome young man, overall.

For the sake of the Falcons running game, I hope they bench him.

Falcons running back Michael Turner was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.

By Alexis Stevens
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner initially told police he hadn’t been drinking when he was stopped speeding early Tuesday morning.

Then, he admitted he had about five shots at Magic City, on Forsyth Street, after his team’s Monday night win at the Georgia Dome, according to the Gwinnett County police report obtained Wednesday by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Turner, 30, of Suwanee, submitted to a portable breath test and registered a .109, the report states. He was arrested on DUI and speeding charges, according to police. The legal blood alcohol level in Georgia is .08.
Police said they stopped Turner shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday, when a Gwinnett County officer clocked a 2012 Audi going 97 mph in a 65-mph zone on I-85 northbound near Indian Trial Road.

“When I advised him of his speed, he seemed shocked and did not seem to believe me,” the officer stated in the report. “He stated the car did not feel like it was going that fast.”

The officer reported smelling alcohol, but Turner didn’t have trouble walking, and his speech was normal, the report states. But Turner did have trouble focusing during an eye test, according to police.

When asked again if he had consumed alcohol, Turner allegedly admitted he had. Turner told the officer he hadn’t gotten to Magic City until 3 a.m. Monday, but during that time had consumed about five shots, according to police.

“I asked him if the shots were normal size, and he stated they were in cups, not shot glasses,” the report states. :deadrose:

Turner was not asked to walk and turn or stand on one leg during because he told the arresting officer he injured his ankle during the football game hours earlier, according to police.

Turner apologized and was remorseful for his actions Wednesday, saying he was disappointed in himself for his actions.
