:lawd: Exactly breh. This movie was terrible. People still can't explain the telekinesis. I guess we can put random shyt in a movie with no explanation.

Keep it 100 brehs, if this movie was made with some other actor besides Micheal Keaton would it still be as "intriguing"? I say this because of his back story. Leaving the Batman franchise and just doing bit parts. There is obviously some meta shyt going on.

This movie is beyond forgettable.

You must be fukking retarded :snoop:

The telekinesis was explained when his agent walked into his dressing room and saw him throwing shyt around, with his hands. Obviously it was all in his head.

:pachaha:Seriously, just go back to your empire. To say this movie was terrible is mind boggling.

Miami Beach, the 305
downloaded the screener when it dropped weeks ago, bought the blu ray movie this past week and watched it again. this movie is not only CLEARLY the best movie of 2014 but its already one of my favorite movies ever. top notch level directing, acting, story just everything was perfection. yea its an artistic indy ish film but the parody homage to keaton's batman flicks and how we as critics (professional or not) love to label everything we see and touch. its a beautifully creative piece of cinema

:salute:

How some people say this movie is terrible is ridiculous, breh, You can say it isn't your cup of tea or whatever but this movie was damn near perfect. There was nothing bad at all in it.

Few movies can grab you from the opening scene but fukk man, this one does:ohlawd: That's how you know a movie is GOAT level.

No way Birdman was better than Boyhood.
Birdman wasn't even better than Gone Girl.

I'm happy for Michael Keaton though.
Now he's known for 3 things.

Batman
Gung Ho
and Birdman

And let's be honest, Gung Ho was better than Birdman.

Boyhood didn't even deserve to be nominated. Birdman was easily better and of the films nominated, it was the best of the bunch

And people know Keaton more for Batman and Beetlejuice and Johnny dangerously/night shift more than gung ho

cosign, but I have no problem with someone saying they enjoyed Gone Girl more. I almost put Gone Girl ahead of birdman on my top 10 of this year list and like it nearly as much.

Of course it deserved to be nominated.

Boyhood is easily the greatest coming-of-age movie ever. Boring as it may seem, it perfectly captures the experience.

Birdman...good god, we're just gonna differ on this one.
Birdman might be the worst movie to get Best Picture since The English Patient.

:scust:

I take that back. It was better than Argo.

I'll give you that boyhood really captured that experience but it doesn't make it a better film. I just don't know what you cats are watching to think that Birdman was horrible. The humor alone instantly endeared me to the film from the opening lines "it smells like.....ballls........". But I've been told in this thread that it could've "been funnier" or that it's because I'm white I think its funny.
