Can Jordan go into the post and score at a high rate?????? Yeah. Can Kareem get the ball at the top of the key and score at all? Maybe 1 bucket out of every 8 possessions, naturally dude would get stripped the moment he puts the rock on the floor. It has nothing to do wit his skills, but just basic fukkin biology of human beings.

Once again, reading is fundamental. This shyt is so simple to understand, not complicated at all. U are forcing yourself to see something that's not there homie.

They play 2 different positions:mindblown:

If u gonna disdain Kareem for not shooting it from deep then why isn't Jordan in the top 10 in rebounds and blocks but still considered the goat :rudy:

2 points is 2 points and Kareem scored more with more MVPs and the same amount of championships but "Jordan is waaaay better"

Get your dumbass out of here breh:camby:

All time points

1 Gretzky 2,857 points
2 Messier 1,887 points

Lemieux is a close second in ppg

I hate hockey but it's easily Gretzky. This shyt is ridiculous. Also has the most goals and assists ever. And a bunch of championships. Hes the only guy in ANY sport that EVERYONE recognizes as the goat. People can debate all day about football, soccer, baseball, basketball

Serena is the only other possible answer

Yeah I mean when you just look at the percentages at how far ahead Gretzky is...that's when it starts to sink in. It's only thing to say that he had almost 1000 points more than the second best...think of the percentages.

To put it in basketball terms, some cat will have to come into the nba and not only surpass Kareem's scoring mark of 38,387...He would have to drop almost 62,000 points to have the percentage spread like Gretzky does in the NHL.

It will likely NEVER be done in our lifetime in a team sport. Always a possibility in an individual sport, but even that seems unlikely these days with all the competition.

Same dudes who scared to go ice skating really trying to deny just how otherworldly Gretzky was.

Lemieux was just as talented, just had injury problems and not as good of a team. All of them took advantage of shytty goaltending.

Let's put this into perspective:

Gretzky points per game: 1.92
Lemieux's: 1.88

Then there's also Patrick Roy and Bobby Orr who weren't offensive players so they obviously didn't drop stats like that.

But as a defensivemen Orr dropped nearly 1000 points, he had 953, and is easily the greatest two way player of all time. Yall wanna say Gretzky like it's no competition because of the stats, but talent wise it's very close and Orr is every bit as accomplished as Gretzky.

They did not and don't know the full range of mike's game .
Any naysayer of mike never really watched the bulls to know for real.

Art Barr

His athleticism was crazy. People really don't understand. It's why so many nba players and coaches keep his name in the goat conversation. He could do everything, and at a high level. His killer instinct was second to none, and he was tutored in skills by the gawd equal opportunity coach Dean Smith.

Mj easily breaking double teams and doing hanging reverse layups in his first games in the nba. GOAT.
