kobe was more fluent & slippery with it.........not as explosive much more effortless*
And more creative with it

MJ had no 360’s, very few windmills, basic two hand alley game

J.R. was catching 360 alleys. Bron was tomahawking the fukk out the ball off hand off an alley

Lol you're limiting this to dunks. There are also many dunks Jordan could do that none of those players you mentioned can. Also, watch the video. Its not about who can do what dunk. Jordan played in a way no player could even dream of playing , let alone actually do. Neither Kobe nor Bron could do most of the things in that video.

Well you said in game dunks

In terms of in game dunks I don’t find MJ to be all that impressive or creative relatively speaking of course, his bag just isn’t as deep as others and his posters aren’t as disrespectful as ones I’ve seen by other guys

There’s an MJ bias if he pulled off some dunks in game I’ve seen from other players there would be a hundred slow mo replays in a hundred different angles with his tongue out just off how being Mike he robbed Dominique in the ‘88 dunk contest:heh:

LeBron and Kobe have done things on the court MJ has never done as well.

I was recently thinking about starting a watch thread for all his games although some are lower quality.
i believe they are gonna drop a major multi part documentary on him this summer, might be a good time.

you can start now though, put me on the @ list when you are watching them, because i missed all of prime MJ. born in the 90s.

Dude was a combo of having great hang time, extreme ballerina like agility, long arms and big hands (which was a huge advantage). Over the years some players have had a few of these attributes but never all four.

The reason MJ and doctor J (much of his prime years were missed and there isn't a lot of film is because he played those years in the ABA) were so graceful in the air and being able to finish ackward shots is because of their extreme hang time and big hands.

MJ, Kyrie and Rod Strickland are probably the best in traffic finishers in terms of layups I have ever seen. Dudes would change the angle of the layup attemp switching hands (especially MJ) to avoid the shot block. I have also never seen any player (outside of Shaq) finish so many and 1s after contact as MJ. It was nothing for him to get hit during the drive and flip the ball with his wrist towards the basket and the ball would go in for an and 1. Players would try to wrap his hands up to prevent him from getting a shot off cause he was known to just flick his wrist and the shot would go in.

Still to this day IMO MJ, Wade and Lebron are the most efficient wing players I have ever seen because they would get to their sweet spot and shoot the same shot over and over and over again at a high FG% clip. MJs was the 15 to 18 foot pull up jumper in which he would hard drive and then stop on a dime and pull up for the jumper.

I never said anything about dunks. Stop running away from the contents of the video which really is about 35% dunks. And Lebron is an uncreative in game dunker. He only has like 2 or 3 dunks. Comparing his in game dunks to Jordan's . :mjlol::mjlol: Anyway, I'm not induldging a dunking discussion . Never said anything about dunks. Jordan's game makes Bron look like an average player.

I literally don’t understand how guys don’t model their games after him kobe was proof. Fundamentals always win out

Many have but also these kats had the height, be agile, have the frame, speed and coordination. Its like saying why no big man has modeled his game after Hakeem or Wilt. You have to have incredible feet, quickness, agility and touch.

Bron does the same one-handed power tomahawk and two-handed back scratch damn near every dunk...and niccas in here talking about Mike had no variety...:pachaha:

Bottom line to me...neither Bron or Kobe can do the things in that video Mike can do. Young and reckless Mike was doing things athletically I STILL haven't seen to this day...peep those early Bulls highlights.

Only one that can dunk close to like Jordan did is Zach Lavine. And maybe Jaylen Brown

Just Win Baby
So MJ hitting high flying finesse dunks and power dunks in transition.:sas1:. What date did old head dunks go out of style?

You definitely throwing shade and hiding your hands. you one of those this era is better because... cats. I see you breh.

The quote said his fast break dunks leave much to be desired. I post an impressive fast break dunk and you rush in with so and so does that all the time. And, was it impressive or not?

so again, what’s the point of your first post?

In this thread, what Jordan fast break dunk hasn’t been impressive to you?

How about this old head dunk?

Everyone talking slick is a Bron fan, I guess doing the same dunk for 15 years is better. Oddly enough Bron had the best breakaway dunk of his career just this year against the Rockets :ehh:

The one-handed power tomahawk is LeBron's signature. However, LeBron has done a lot of other dunks as well but y'all blind to the shyt.

Just like 85% of these MJ dunk compilations are hand palm power hangtime dunks.
