No, it isn't. The group of women who started that hashtag and phrase are not the founders of the movement. They started that hashtag when Trayvon was murdered.

The movement was started in Ferguson when Mike Brown was murdered. The movement is not called BLM. The movement doesn't have a name. People just call it that because many of the protesters hold signs that say that, and because they don't know what else to call it.

It also doesn't have a leader. The movement is a group of protesters all over the country. You could start a protest and be a part of the movement. The organizers around the country always remind people that they are not affiliated with the BLM organization. People are finally starting to figure that out.
