I had an discussion with one of my friends years ago and he is smart (book wise) dude, a brotha. He believed that intelligence was inherited and was not in part based on environment and it was the reason he excelled, that he has an advantage because of his genes. I told him that if he believed that, instead of for the fact he grew up in home where education is stressed, than what is going to prevent whites and asians from thinking they have a genetic advantage?

Kids born from African parents excel in sports and academics more than their white and asian counterparts. That is the danger in taking Michael Johnson's side. Whites will be quick to agree so they can take the we are inherently smarter than you stand.

Does this prove black excellence or good parenting? You be the judge.

I knew people that went to Bellaire HS with Emeka Okafor and they said he smarter than they were and he one of the best bball players in the country. Dude was player of the year and was Rhodes scholar candidate in the same year. Black excellence

I know that his parents hated that he played while in HS ball and wanted him to be a doctor. Africans think sports distract from school. He started bball real late. He got so tall, they had to let him play. Using your brain instead of your brawn is looked highly upon by Africans.

So we should ignore that people of African decent completely dominate sprint type of races and are generally faster and can jump higher than people of other races because you are scared the argument can be flipped on its head?

When given similar educational opportunities people of African decent show no disadvantage in the classroom or the workplace. Opportunity has been the barrier in that arena. Other races have the same opportunity to participate and train in track and field, basketball, football, etc. in the USA as black people. There is no artificial barrier that puts them a step behind yet we still dominate.

Stop being afraid of what others may say and challenge them on it.

it just makes it hard for black people that don't play sports IMO. leads to more instances of "stupuid things white girls say" videos.

If you don't play sports, run, and jump high = your not black!

because they retained water in the climate they lived for thousands of years.


If you take 100,000 black people out of Sub Saharan African and put them in the middle of Europe and they could only have off spring with each other for 2,000 years, they would lose those hips as they are not needed.

There are only minor differences between races on a basic level.

Adaptation to the living conditions is the reason we have different races. You cant sit here and say its not the race itself its the adaptation to that environment when the adaptation to the environment is what gave birth to the different races to begin with. You cant separate the two. If you took a large group of people, stuck them on Antarctica and made them fend for themselves for 100,000 years they would become some new race.
