Nah fr teaching and ingraining kids with knowledge of self from a young age is super important especially in this modern age....I think a lot of parents especially the ones who worked hard to level up become content or comfortable with their kids being stable they overlook the deeper elements, some just want their kids to fit in, others are simply to focused on their own passions and careers to sustain the family lifestyle...Working mad hours, multiple jobs, or in Irvin case on the road away a shxt ton...If there is not enough of balance their them kids more than likely gonna eventually rebel or go through a identity crisis...

This. I would add that some middle class black parents will give their kids speeches about how being from the hood made them stronger, or more of a man..... and then tell their kids they have it easy. ...what is the kid supposed to take away from that ?
