There is obviously a racial bias when it comes to who can and can't benefit from the law. That's what the point has been. Can you at least agree to that?

This is where I was heading. The only way to have not guilty on those four lessers is to believe, without a shred of evidence, that Jordan davis had a shotgun. That's the only thing that could justify a not guilty for the firing at car charge. Their would be no debate about murder one, because he would be justified for shooting at the car, right?

Yep. If he's guilty of firing at the car then how is he not guilty for the other lesser charges. I think they are going to find him not guilty on those.

The justice system is biased. Dudes are getting probation for Affluenza.

Overall, SYG law is just awful, and the Dunn trial might reinforce what we already know. If the verdict is not-guilty, hopefully they repeal this 9 year old law.

They won't repeal it because situations like the Zimmerman situation and the Dunn situation are why they made this law. Giving white supremacists the green light to kill black youth.

Manslaughter is not happening...you can't get manslaughter when you step out the car and shoot 10 times towards an SUV with 4 people in it. That is shooting with the intent to kill breh. The white kid was clearly in the middle of committing a crime. All of the other mainstream stories involved innocent black kids who weren't doing anything when they got shot.

Next to testify: Brian Hopkins, who, when asked where he lived in April, did not know the name of the street. He has lived there for eight years. Hopkins was a friend of both James and Chris Cervini, who went to James Cervini's house, and was drinking with them and went out to look for cigarettes with the two cousins.

Hopkins said they were being loud and tried to get into several cars. Brian opened one, looked in the glove box for smokes, and found none in there. Hopkins says he didn't take anything from the car.

Then they got to 39 Baneberry Way. James and Chris went up to the cars while Brian stayed at the sidewalk. A man who looked like he was wearing a hoodie came out. Brian did not see anything in the man's hand. Brian walked toward Manitou Rd. Heard a "pop"... and then another.

The white man's paranoia is something else. They swear the system designed to protect them is crumbling or something. It's been well documented that Chris Cervini kid was legally drunk, high, and breaking into the man's car.

That is the history of the law, it was made for people to shoot looters. But the congressman who authored the bill doesn't like the way the law is being used.
