In my humble, non-legal opinion, the defense overplayed their hand with Dunn repeating "I did nothing wrong" as an explanation for why he didnt call or inform police. He should have just stuck with the "emotionally frazzled/not thinking clearly" script. Calling the police isnt an admission of guilt, obviously, and its odd that a supposed meek and mild mannered everyday joe doesnt think to involve law enforcement after such a traumatic event where someone was likely killed by his own hands, and instead gets liqued and eats pizza. Even "thugs" arent that cold.

No matter what biases they are anticipating are in the minds of the jury, to any rational person Dunn zoomed past arrogance, and comes across as a complete sociopath with little regard for human life.
